Story-Line: The story of the ‘Undekhi’ web series revolves around the Atwal family living in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The head of the family shoots in the forehead of a dancing girl at his son’s wedding. The Atwal family makes full arrangements to suppress the murder, but when the incident took place, a cameraperson was present there to shoot the wedding. He captures this murder in his camera. While the people accompanying him help the Atwal family in suppressing the case, this boy tries to tell truth to the police.

A few hours later, an honest policeman from Bengal arrives in Manali. He is investigating a murder that has taken place there, whose wires are linked to the same girl killed by the Atwal family. Will the police be able to solve both these cases? And what problems he will have to face in solving this, this is the story of the series.

Review: The story begins with the investigation of a policeman in Sundarbans. DCP Ghosh (Divyendu Bhattacharya) comes to Manali in search of two female tribals suspected of murder. On the other hand, preparations are being made for the wedding of Daman (Ankur Rathi), the owner of the resort in Manali, and the son of the influential father-in-law (Harsh Chhaya). The solution to every problem is to shoot for the drunk father at all times. More dangerous than him is his adopted son Rinku (Surya Sharma). He obeys every command of his so-called father. Daman, who returned from the US, has distanced himself from criminal activity. Drunk Papaji shoots a dancer at a party held before the wedding. The cameraman (Abhishek Chauhan) records the incident. The killed dancer is a tribal girl. How Rinku erases evidence in an attempt to save Papaji. How DCP Ghosh’s honesty becomes a hindrance to his path is the story in that regard.

The manner in which the wrangling of the police of two states complicates the matter has also been taken up with seriousness by the author. In one scene, Rinku says regarding police that they have neither respect nor Aadhaar card. This reflects the thinking towards the poor, helpless women of the country. Director Ashish R Singh keeps a hold on the story.

Highlights of the web series:
‘Undekhi’ becomes special due to its writing and editing. Directed by Siddharth Sengupta, Mohindra Pratap Singh, Umesh Padalkar, and Varun Badola, the world of ‘Undekhi’ has been decorated by director Ashish Shukla with his brilliant direction. They have presented the truth of the patriarchal society on the screen with no knowledge and you are forced to think that the civilization we give is like this? The praise for the ‘Undekhi’ web series cannot be complete without praising Editor Rajesh Pandey. He has shaped each episode so brilliantly that after the end of the series, the viewers wonder why it had so few episodes?

Marji Pagdiwala’s camera work, Anindita Somitra Chaturvedi’s set designing, and Anud Dandi and Shivam Sengupta’s background score add life to the series.

Now let’s talk about the great actors of ‘Undekhi’ series. There is no such familiar face in this series, in whose name you can get excited to see this series, but when this series ends, you become a fan of all its actors. Every scene of ‘Undekhi’ adorned by such brilliant artists as Apera Porwal, Ani Zoya, Ankur Rathi, Abhishek Chauhan, Anchal Singh, Varun Bhagat, Harsh Chhaya, and Debyendu Bhattacharya is unmatched. All these actors fit into their respective characters.

Series Negatives:
In the ‘Undekhi’ series, there are similar things that bother you, but it can be said that the makers could have kept some scenes close to reality. The makers have shown the Atwal family so powerful, but a policeman from Bengal suffers in their noses so much that all their men start flapping, which is a little strange.

Final verdict:
In the last few months, there have been many crime thriller series, with which big names were associated but they all look pale in front of ‘Undekhi’. If you are fond of watching good cinema, don’t miss ‘Undekhi’ at all.
