Along the way, Pathaan falls in love with a woman named Roshni (Pooja Batra), who is also the daughter of Kooka Singh. The film is set in the underworld of Mumbai and is full of action, suspense, and drama.
The first thing that struck me about “Pathaan” was its strong performances by the lead actors. Sunil Shetty, who plays the title role, is in top form here, delivering a convincing performance as a rugged and tough smuggler with a heart of gold. Jackie Shroff, who plays the cop Vijay, also delivers a solid performance, bringing a sense of authority and gravitas to the role. Pooja Batra, who plays Roshni, does a good job as well, although her character is not as well-developed as the other two leads.
The film’s action sequences are also worth mentioning. Director Sanjay F Gupta, who is known for his action films, does a good job here, with the action scenes being well-choreographed and intense.
