These days, digital platforms have become a panacea for both the industry and the audience which has made the work of everyone easier. Aditya Rawal’s film ‘Bamfaad’ has been released digitally. If you have not seen this film yet, then read the review before watching, know more about this star kid’s debut film …

Cast: Aditya Rawal, Shalini Pandey, Vijay Varma, Jatin Sarna, Vijay Kumar, Sanjeev Bhattacharya

Director: Ranjan Chandel

Producer: Jar Pictures and Shaika Films
Streaming Platform: Zee 5

Release Date: 11th April 2020.

Genre: Drama, Romance

Story-Line: Talking about the story, the film Bamfaad is a love story entangled in Allahabad’s local politics. In which the central characters are Nasir Jamal (Aditya Rawal) and Neelam (Shalini Paden). As the name suggests, Nasir is a Muslim and Neelam is a Hindu. Nasir is the son of a famous Allahabad politician. At the same time, Neelam is a girl from a poor family who lives at the mercy of the local goon Jigar Faridi. Naasir, who loves his friends and is very hot-tempered, meets Neelam one day and starts loving her. But Jigar Faridi does not like the proximity of these two. Apart from this, Jigar is also jealous of Nasir’s father in politics.

The proximity of Nasir and Neelam gives the Jigar a chance to remove both thorns in its path. Now, in such a situation, Jigar makes a plan that causes a storm in the lives of Nasir and Neelam.

Review: The story is not very new. Uttar Pradesh has a backdrop. It is based in Allahabad. Nate aka Nasir Jamal (Aditya Rawal) is a very angry person. Notorious at school. Some are easygoing and a little happy. Nate is the son of a politician (Shahid Jamal), who falls in love with Neelam (Shalini Pandey) at a glance. Neelam is in itself a ‘bombarded’ girl. However, his past is associated with a local goon Jigar Faridi (Vijay Varma). They dominate all the way. People are afraid of Jigar.

Who is Neelam, where has she come from and why does she live alone in Allahabad? She hides her truth from Nasser and when her secret is opened, a story that was supposed to keep the audience tied to her, but it did not happen.

Direction and writing: By the way, the film has tried to raise many serious issues simultaneously. But due to putting many twists in the story, it has come out as a weak film. The film is directed by Ranjan Chandel. Ranjan has filmed some scenes quite well by going to the interiors of Allahabad. But he could not make this film very effective. At the same time, if we talk about Shalini, Shalini has done justice to her character to a great extent.

Acting: Talking about acting, the expectations of the audience from the son of a veteran artist like Paresh Rawal are also high. But Aditya Rawal does not seem to live up to it very much. In the film, he has a very good grip on the Allahabad accent and body language, but when it comes to emotions, he seems a little weak in it. At the same time, in the film, Jatin Saran has once again presented an example of his brilliant acting. At the same time, when talking about Vijay Verma, he has also looked a little dull in this film like Aditya. He was able to show his magic on the screen.

Pros: Communication is very good. The dialogues are similar to the kind of dialogue in such a rustic love story. The tone of the location and the characters are almost UP. The characters have done their own work almost up to the mark. The music is good.

Cons: The story is not a single short note worth remembering. It is cheating with the best powerful actors that they did not get a good story. Fantastic actors Vijay Verma and Jatin Sarna have not had any good scenes. It was not seen even in the direction.

Why one should watch:

1. This is Aditya Rawal’s first film and he can be given a chance as a debutant. Also, Shalini Pandey has done a great job with him. In this context, the film can be seen once.
2. In the film, an attempt has been made to show the love story but the chemistry of both the characters does not justify this concept.

3. In terms of acting too, disappointment will be felt by the audience. Good actors were also not used very well in the film.
4. At the same time, if you talk about the story, then the story does not appeal to you at all. The story has become sloppy in terms of putting a lot of flavor in it and you don’t find anything fun.
